The booking process was very straightforward and smooth thanks to the agent, Abbie, she was very helpful in setting up my removal appointment and also helped arrange a parking permit… The movers arrived exactly on time and made very quick work of moving all my boxes and furniture, even expressly carrying everything up stairs. The moving process was simple and all my belongings were handled with care. This is the second time I’ve used them, and I will definitely be using them again. I can’t recommend them enough!

Excellently organised by Abbie and carried out with speed and care by Tibor & Tomasz who overcame the impact of an out of service lift and kept to time without complaint whilst providing numerous little tips and advice for even better packing for future moves. They exceeded expectations by getting the lot into a single load thereby saving the time and cost of a second trip. Prompt, reliable and friendly throughout. A perfect job - much appreciatedEnjoyed an excellent move experience on 2nd November. Aussie team was skilled and productive and exceeded expectations by completing the job far faster than expected, which made it highly cost effective. Whole team was professional, responsive and a joy to deal with including 'best practice' admin set-up by Niamh Finn and careful and respectful handling of the fragile items by the team at the sharp end. The most helpful company when it comes to moving houses(from reaching out for a quote , to providing handyman services to the actual move , no flaws) , in such stressful situation like packing all your possessions , Aussie man employees (can’t remember the names but were two hungarian men) , they took care of our stuff as it was their own , came up with a creative way to get the couch in the place. If you're not sure about whether to pay for this, just do it. It's cheap for what you get. I was extremely worried about moving, especially since I lived up 5 flights of very narrow stairs. Not only was the move pick but also extremely professional and friendly. I cannot recommend this highly enough. It makes one of the biggest concerns about moving just disappear.

Niamh was my first point of contact and was so kind and helpful.I was allocated two vans & four men to do our move. The guys that came to move us across were amazing. They were so efficient and professional at moving our furniture/ clothing (basically our entire life) across to our new home. Confusing extra charges that make no sense. I ask for a quote. I say I have no boxes. They quote me X then charge me extra without putting it in the quote.Of course I call and the usual customer service muppet answers to tell me I’m wrong. The guys packing were fine but I despise sneaky fees and deliberate hiding of charges. Be warned.

Aussie did a great job on helping me move house across London (a second time!). Nic and Victor arrived promptly at 8am and worked quickly and professionally to move and secure everything (including dismantling a sofa and dining table). Delivery to my new address was flawless, including laying down plastic to protect carpets and taking heavy items to the second floor (no complaints, only a smile and nod). They made the whole moving process easy and stress free. I’d recommend Aussie and would use again.

Great, reliable service. We have used Aussie a few times for moves but this time decided to use them to help move some heavy white goods around our home as we were in a bind and knew they would be reliable and respectful of our home. Couple of gripes would be the minimum 2 hour booking, our job was done in less than an hour and also being called 4 hours before our slot to see if they could come early as their other job finished early, so we ended up rushing around to accommodate them coming earlier than we had planned (seemed like the logistics planning may have gone wrong then as I hadn’t been offered anything earlier than the time I was booked in for). Not letting this effect the star rating as the service is still great.

This business is hopeless. I used the live chat to try to book a removalist. They asked me for photos of my furniture which I sent through. Then they went radio silent and the chat was ended. I tried another chat instance and was told they would get back to me. Nothing. The next day I called and dealt with a really rude woman who told me they had my quote and would email me. Another day went past. No one had an Australian accent (lol) and as an Aussie myself I am so offended that they mention an 'Aussie work ethic' on their website. I can assure you this is not an Aussie work ethic!

Very easy process to arrange. Man & Van turned out to be two men + van (19 reg, so no tatty old vehicle)! Very punctual and they seemed to be careful with my stuff. Charged by time (hourly) with no hidden extras such as mileage. Times were recorded accurately and charged up to the next hourly point.

I have used Aussie Man & Van various times over the last few years and have had a very good service with them - UNTIL recently. Stay away.UPDATE - “I used them again last time we moved house and was really disappointed. They have changed management and the service was terrible. They sent fewer men than planned, misjudged the time of the job, then unloaded the entire job into their warehouse overnight (chipping x4 Eames chairs, breaking one antique table), reloaded it onto lorries the next day, and then ran late unloading it and unpacked in such a frenzy it was chaos. The cost was also much increased - x2. I wouldn’t, sadly, ever use them again. Or advise them. I have edited this review from a 4 star to a 1-star. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news!”OLD REVIEW (4-star) before change of management - company was sold.“They are punctual, professional and polite. The guys are always very strong, work extremely hard and are eager to please. They also respond well to requests being made. However from the first phone call I was relieved and confident that I’d made the right choice.I had a phone call the day before the move confirming the time, and then on the day everything went exactly as planned. I suspect that 'Aussie' are in fact a marketing outfit without staff of their own. Booking was fine but no one turned up despite my filling out the confirmation e-mail instantly. This was blamed on 'IT systems' inevitably but to be fair 2 chaps turned up quite quickly (around 11am instead of 9am as planned) after I called to find out what was going on. The two were great but were wearing sweaters branded as a Shaftesbury removals firm. This despite booking with 'Aussie' and the phone being answered as 'Firbanks Removals'. Got there in the end but try finding a company you can deal direct with and cut out the multiple levels of commission that must be hiding in this business model!
